Launch of Implicit Creations and Beta

Beta Plug Label I’m sure most readers of this blog are aware by now, but just to close the loop from the last post, I wanted to post about the opening of my new business, Implicit Creations. You can now buy your very own Beta Plug which I truly believe to be the best butt plug out there. I’m very proud of it.

Now with that up and running, I’ll try to let this blog return to its originally scheduled programming of reviews and whatnot. Updates and things related to Beta and any future developments I hope to contain to the Implicit Creations blog.

Update on Beta

In my last post, I announced “Beta,” a very high quality version of my original hand-made Alpha plug, and said it would be available around April 2014. Well it’s now solidly April, so I thought I’d give you guys an update on where things stand:

Beta is here and it is awesome.

I’ve been working tirelessly for the past two months to get to this point, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I can’t wait to get them in your hands. Unfortunately, I have a couple more things to do before I can release Beta for sale. But where before I was only able to offer a vague timeline for release, today I’m here to announce a date:

May 25, 2014

Starting on that date, you will be able to buy Beta at implicitcreations.com. And, as I promised in my last post, existing Alpha owners will be able to upgrade for free. More details will follow.

Thanks again for all of your support. I hope you all can stick around for one more month. I really am working as hard as I can to do this right.

Alpha is Dead. Long Live Beta.

Alpha has been sold out for a few weeks now, and I’ve received numerous inquiries about when it will be back in stock, so I thought I’d provide an update as to where things currently stand.

First of all, thanks for the incredible response about Alpha. It has been very humbling and encouraging. But most of all, it has shown me that there is a huge demand out there for comfortable plugs for long-term wear.

Unfortunately, Alpha is a very time consuming product to make. From measuring, mixing, degassing, pouring, curing, and cleaning, each plug requires a lot of manual work which is then reflected in the cost. And frankly, I think you all deserve better than hand-made for the price.

So a little over a month ago, I completely remodeled Alpha on the computer. I now have a perfect representation of my original vision. I reached out to a number of American manufacturers and selected the one I believe to be the most well equipped to make my product a reality.

Without any further ado, I present a rendering of what’s to come:

The new plug will be called, rather unimaginatively, Beta, and it will be released by a new company that I am starting called Implicit Creations. A website will be launched soon, just a few finishing touches to put on it first.

Beta will be made of a more luxurious, silky smooth silicone compared to Alpha but is otherwise similar in terms of shape and size. I’ve gone to great lengths to ensure it will be made with only medical grade materials. It will also come in full retail packaging. Best of all, thanks to the economies of scale, I am fairly confident I can price it less than Alpha. Furthermore, I promise all customers who purchased Alpha will be able to upgrade to Beta for free.

Things are moving very fast and I’m very excited about how things are shaping up. I even have plans for small and large versions of Beta. I’m definitely letting this cat out of the bag a little earlier than I had originally intended, but I feel like I owe it to all my loyal readers to know what’s up with Alpha.

Beta should be available for purchase ~~in April 2014~~ on May 25, 2014. I am not taking pre-orders or anything like that, but it would mean a lot to me if you subscribed to this mailing list to receive updates as things progress.

Introducing Alpha, The First Plug Designed for Long-Term Wear

I started thinking, if not seriously at first, about what my ideal plug would look like. I commonly criticize plugs for being too complicated and having bases that are irritating for long-term wear. And plugs which are comfortable for long-term use are usually smaller than I’d like. My ideal plug would need to have a simple, organic shape, a well-thought-out base, and enough mass to be satisfyingly filling without being distracting. A tall order, but I thought I could do it.

And so I started designing, and prototyping, and testing. What I came up with far exceeded my expectations. Today, I am very pleased to announce that you, too, can experience the best butt plug I have ever used.

Introducing Alpha, the first plug designed by a butt plug lover, for butt plug lovers, specifically for long-term wear.

Alpha was shaped by hand for easy insertion and retention. Its 2-inch bulb and 1-inch neck will fill you up and stretch you out for days without becoming uncomfortable. The premium silicone material is firm, but flexible, non-porous, and phthalate-free. With some care, it should last a lifetime.

But it’s the base that really sets Alpha apart as the top dog. The neck gradually transitions into the base, making it very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. It is also the same width as the neck, which feels very natural between the cheeks. Absent are the sharp edges and right angles found on so many other plugs; only simple, gentle curves make Alpha THE plug for long-term wear.

Alpha is now available in translucent blue and translucent white in the new ~~Plug Love store~~ (Implicit Creations store). While you’re there, pick up some Maximus lube. The best plug deserves the best water-based lube to go with it.
